I would get her some new sport boots and spend at least $100 solely on bell boots! She absolutely DESTROYS her boots when we run barrels, tears holes, I always take an extra pair but her aggressive running style is taking a toll on my wallet.

Pssh.I didn't pick up the wrong lead
It's called a counter canter...
...A very advanced maneuver.

I know the feeling! Sky has been killing all of his bellboots too. We still have Davis bell boots which is a good sign!

I have a horse. I will never have an extra $500. Why do that to myself?

You just have to see your distance...you don't have to like it.

Hmm, probably get myself a start into english riding apparel. I kinda need to get everything from the ground up!

Once, Selena turned a barrel, ripped a hole from her bell boot powering out, and literally tore it in half. It fell off, and was recovered by some pretty astonished barrel setters...LOL And THAT is an extreme case example as to why barrel horses need bell boots, and why I never skimp on quality.

$500? Not much these days sadly. That won't quite cover tomorrow's farrier visit. Now 5k, I could shop with but it would be a boring purchase, fencing supplies. Blah.
