I'll be in Ontario teaching a clinic Sept 13-17

I am in the process of making plans for another clinic in Paisley, Ontario at the Whitaker stables. The dates are most likely Sept 13-17. I say most likely, but until They get those airline tickets in my hand......

Here is a link to the farm, in case any forum members would like to come by and say HI!! It sure would be fun. How about it Velvet? Go out for drinks, this time??

Whitaker Stables | About Us

The clinic info hasn't been updated from the last clinic, unfortunately. I am sure looking forward to getting to work with folks before the Royals.

I'll keep this updated in case of any changes.

I wish I could go! Even to just watch would be fun!

You should come to Cape Breton!! You could give a clinic at this place that I go to, it's pretty new, has VERY nice facilaties! Two Beautiful outdoor rings AND a cross country course!

Whata say?? Lol :)

Sounds like it would be great. I always love playing on a good XC course.

I *might* be able to make it on the Saturday again, if the dates stay the same, and work doesn't add a weekend shift. Not to mention...I work afternoons all that week, so it might be slightly more difficult. I would love to audit again though!

Just want to add that although I didn't ride in the clinic, auditing was just as good of an experience. It was well worth the drive!

Now it would be much more convenient if you came to BC.

Oh, come on Allison, why don't you skip, hop & jump over to Michigan so all the Michiganders can check it out? ;)

All joking aside, I wish I could just go to watch. I hope it's a great clinic & everything goes smoothly!

Why wouldn't you come to MD, Allison?

Well, yesterday was the first day of the clinic. The weather was windy and cloudy with spits of rain. Thank goodness for indoor rings!!

I had really nice riders, but I didn't get a chance to take photos. Hopefully, some of the auditors, who did photograph, will send me some of theirs.

I had a really nice Haffie doing dressage. I really liked both the horse and rider. Haffies are so underrated in their ability to do some nice dressage. I really liked this pair and hope to see them again. Hope I get some of the photos of me riding him. Ought to be interesting.

I also had a young lady who has only been riding 3-4 months. She has incredible raw talent and can't wait to watch her progress! Her lesson pony pitched a little hissy fit (as only ponies can....) and she just got to business working it out. Nice attitude.

Another was a young lady who has been attending my clinics up here from the beginning. She has become such a lovely rider. She rides a newly gelded New Forest pony belonging to the farms owner. He is 4 and has qualified for the Western Silver dressage finals in his first year with her.

Today will be busy with some new horses coming with past clinic riders. Can't wait to get at it. I promise to try to get some photos!

Sounds like it started off great Allison! Looking forward to pics.
