Well, yesterday was the first day of the clinic. The weather was windy and cloudy with spits of rain. Thank goodness for indoor rings!!
I had really nice riders, but I didn't get a chance to take photos. Hopefully, some of the auditors, who did photograph, will send me some of theirs.
I had a really nice Haffie doing dressage. I really liked both the horse and rider. Haffies are so underrated in their ability to do some nice dressage. I really liked this pair and hope to see them again. hope I get some of the photos of me riding him. Ought to be interesting.
I also had a young lady who has only been riding 3-4 months. She has incredible raw talent and can't wait to watch her progress! Her lesson pony pitched a little hissy fit (as only ponies can....) and she just got to business working it out. Nice attitude.
Another was a young lady who has been attending my clinics up here from the beginning. She has become such a lovely rider. She rides a newly gelded New Forest pony belonging to the farms owner. He is 4 and has qualified for the Western Silver dressage finals in his first year with her.
Today will be busy with some new horses coming with past clinic riders. Can't wait to get at it. I promise to try to get some photos!
