Illinois People: Tack Sale at Lamplight?

Hey all! Any Illinois-people here? Due to the shortage of decent tack sale in our area, my friends and I are contemplating hosting a tack sale ourselves. I shot off an email to Lamplight in Wayne, seeing if they would allow use of a show barn. (If not, we do have some other locations to try).
We're thinking late February. We love the Kane-County-style, so we're thinking of using one aisle to have people drop off their things and then divide into types (saddle stalls, bridle stalls, etc) and then using the other aisle to allow booths where people get a stall and can bring their tack to sell themselves. If we get use of Lamplight, we have room for trailers, and potentially horses as well.
We're also thinking about asking some speakers to come and do a nutrition or saddle fitting lecture, or something of the sort.
If you or anyone you know would be interested in attending, please post or email: as I'm trying to read the interest level before confirming our plans.

That would be AWESOME, and it is in my area! I just had a conversation with a friend about some of the tack sales in the area. It would be great to have another to go to:) Please keep us posted!

Great! :) I really have not seen any real tack sales being promoted in our area this year, except for FVSA auction in March.
