Talking I'm alive! Have a question for my APHA friends

I have been looking for Keerah's parents and what they look like, and have finally found their names. Can't find them on AllBreed, nor do I have an APHA account. Is there any way someone can help? I'd love to see what they look like, and their pedigree so I can get Keerah's together.

    Sea N Sand
    I'm Talent

Thanks to anyone who might be able to help! (:

There is no photo available for Sea N Sand. I'm Talent does not have any registered foals.

Keerah isn't registered with APHA, and was told that there weren't any in the history. I just wasn't sure if there were any pictures, or the pedigree of them both so I could finally get hers back together as I lost it in the move.

Thank you very much for looking! (:

I'm not sure what you mean by that. Since you know the sire & dam, are you planning on registering her?

She's 17 years old. I got her 4 years ago, and figured it was too late to do anything.

You may be able to get APHA to give you photos of her sire & dam. You would have to check with APHA for specifics on registration. What I can tell you is that... Sea N Sand is DNA typed and stallion listed. I'm Talent is not DNA typed, but is still listed as alive and owned by someone in California. Because she was foaled prior to 2000, and if a breeder's certificate was filed, you may not need the dam's DNA for registration. SBP registration fee is only $115. Alternatively, you could also look into PtHA registration.

Registering an older horse may or may not be worth it. The fees are a factor to some. To others, the benefits of showing/membership and value of the papers outweigh the initial cost.

In another thread, you said her registered name was Iced Bonanza and that she was a quarter horse. I searched APHA, PtHA, and AQHA for that name, and it is not registered with any of those associations. "Iced Bonanza" is on allbreed with a note about American Indian Horse Registry. If AIHR has some sort of certificate, maybe you could order a duplicate from them.

The pedigrees for Sea N Sand and I'm Talent on allbreed are correct now. I had to pull some information from both APHA and AQHA to fill in some of the gaps for you.

Someone on Facebook had made that for me just recently as I had asked there for some help as well.

I didn't know she was a BS paint until I asked the registry she is registered with for her sire and dam names.

I thank you very very much for filling in the gaps. It doesn't mean much to me, papers wise, but would be nifty for her to finally have APHA papers, or PtHA. I thought she was just a plain ol' QH. Fees and the money doesn't mean much to me. It's not about putting more value into her either. I was just tickled that I had a paint horse and didn't know it. Lol
