You may be able to get APHA to give you photos of her sire & dam. You would have to check with APHA for specifics on registration. What I can tell you is that... Sea N Sand is DNA typed and stallion listed. I'm Talent is not DNA typed, but is still listed as alive and owned by someone in California. Because she was foaled prior to 2000, and if a breeder's certificate was filed, you may not need the dam's DNA for registration. SBP registration fee is only $115. Alternatively, you could also look into PtHA registration.
Registering an older horse may or may not be worth it. The fees are a factor to some. To others, the benefits of showing/membership and value of the papers outweigh the initial cost.
In another thread, you said her registered name was Iced Bonanza and that she was a quarter horse. I searched APHA, PtHA, and AQHA for that name, and it is not registered with any of those associations. "Iced Bonanza" is on allbreed with a note about American Indian Horse Registry. If AIHR has some sort of certificate, maybe you could order a duplicate from them.
The pedigrees for Sea N Sand and I'm Talent on allbreed are correct now. I had to pull some information from both APHA and AQHA to fill in some of the gaps for you.
