I'm Back from the Equine Affair!!

I'm back from Springfield Mass from the Equine Affair. Anyone miss me? Lol

I had a BLAST....though we went home early today instead of seeing the Sales Barn because I got no sleep the previous night (due to 2 Excedrine Migrains and a HUGE Forbidden Frudge Brownie Sundae at Friendly's ) and I got a headache from being in the one building that was soooo crowded and noisey (where most of the venders were).

We went to see Pfizer Fantasia the first night (Thursday Night), then we went to the actual Equine Affair on Friday for all day. We originally were going to see some lady on Horse Communication, but we kinda got lost and ended up not watching it cause we were too tired lol. Then we went and saw the FRIESIAN breed show (GREAT show, but I felt bad for the one Friesian because the lady was using a western bit...LOONG shanks on it...and using it with too hands. The horses mouth was open and you could tell it was bothering him...poor horse!). Then we saw Chris Cox...but it was kinda hard to hear him because he seemed like he was yelling into the microphone
Then we saw a lady and her Andalusian STALLION....OMG he was beautiful. I want him. SHe did things on liberty work...mainly tricks like bowing, rearing, etc. But GOSH was she herself annoying....her jokes were stupid and yeah...I wouldn't have been watching her if she didn't have such a pretty horse

Then we left for the day.
I got two sweaters....one that says "Equine Affair" then one other one that is blue, and black and white and has horses on.

I had a GREAT time and have 279 pics and videos to share (of course I won't post ALL of the pictures lol) but I will post the good ones in the picture section and will post hte links to the videos in the video section.
So yeah, look out for those!!

    Anyone else went?

I didn't see anyone I wanted to see....I saw my old farrier and I was going to flick him off (yes he recognized me...he gave me the "oh **** I didn't want to see her" look....I stared at him for a while, rolled my eyes, then walked away).....for those who don't know...my old farrier ditched me as a costumer after I moved to the new stables. He gave me an appointment day (no time)....I e-mailed back saying he didn't give me a time so I'll expect him at the normal time 9 am. Well I was there for 5 hours (not including the hour previously to get Sonny in and clean) and he did not show. And I haven't heard from him since.

Anyways, enough ranting. I'll post the pictures and videos up in a bit!!!!!

I was at Fantasia Thursday night too! It was awesome! Where were you sitting? I was in Section 9 Row C.

Then on Friday I saw Ginger Kathrens talk about horse photography, I saw most of Gina Miles, all of Clinton Anderson, and the beginning of Julie Goodnight.

I'm looking forward to seeing the photos. This is the first EA I've missed in several years.

How was the crowd this year? It sounds pretty busy, despite the economy.

It was pretty big actually. So much so that on some things it was standing room only (of course standing room only for the one that I wanted to see the most :( )
