I'm Back Finally!

I disappeared for a good while because of everything hectic going on. So here is an updated on Blue and I!
We just celebrated our 3 year anniversary and Blue's 13th birthday.
The reason I disappeared is because Blue got beat up by an aggressive horse and was lame for a good while back in March of 2012. The vet said to just give him bute and put him on stall rest. We were supposed to go to a big dressage show and ended up having to cancel our plans. He moved to my moms so he could be taken care of around the clock. Blue has recovered 100%! He has been only lightly ridden for a little over a year because of inadequate riding space at my moms.
Now, a year and a month later, Blue is ready to be back in training and hopefully go to lower level shows later in the year.
Next month after my wedding he is going to a boarding stable that has 82 acres of pasture, a cross country course, and outdoor arena. I even got a job as a riding instructor there! They just opened and soon they are building an indoor. I can't wait to start posting about his progress!

Life is about doing something you love and never giving up.

Welcome back! I'm glad the Blue recovered and that you were able to get him closer to you! Best of luck with everything, can't wait to see how he progresses.

You are never better than anyone. Every rider has skills they need to improve. The only one you must compare yourself with, is you.
