I'm Doomed!!! (rant, rant, rant)

The Martin family took over our 4-H project this year. The past three years it has been horrible. Well, I have been friends with the Martin girls for a while now and I expected such a great year. Well....

It sucks! We've had a total of three meetings when we are supposed to have them every Monday. I was always showing up when no one else came because I wasn't ever contacted.

I was elected Vice President. The President is of course the oldest Martin daughter(they didn't let us vote.) Whenever she is gone it is my job to take over and run the meetings. That never happened because her mom wouldn't let me.

I am happy for Drill Team to be coming for the Pioneer Days Rodeo here. Scratch that, I was happy until I found out the oldest Martin daughter was in charge of the whole thing!!!!!!!!!!! :x :x :x :x

My mom told me yesterday and I was so flippin mad! If it is a disaster...and I bet it will be...I have every right to blame it on them. I think I'm done with 4-H here and I might travel to the next town to show because people don't get it done here.

When you commit to being a 4-H leader. You better follow through with it. Don't say you don't have the time. You commited. Make time!

Thanks for reading my ranting.

I'm sorry Blu! is the next town far from you? it might be better if you join the 4-H in the next town over, like you said. Then you would be able to participate in all the activities you want to. Some people just like to say they are a the main person of something, but dont actually complete that main person's duties and then it all seems to fall apart. I know it's an absolute pain. Let us know how it turns out!

I'm so tired of this. lol. If she doesn't something I don't like, I'm not going to sit back and wait I'm going to tell her.

The next town is about 30min. away. They have shows and rodeos with us. The only sucky part is, I can't go to the next town unless my friend does because we don't have a trailer or anything but I'm thinking she might.

my daughter has been so turned off of h-4, we have 3 groups in our county, first group she stuck it out for the year....i've have never been so peeved at the behaiver of all the kids in that one group... you could not hear a thing..kids running around, 2nd year i moved her to a 4-h group in our town...it consistead of 5 familys, 2 family where had 5 kids each which were home schooled and tended to take over every thing.....my husband droped our daughter off to help make the banner for 4-h fair and said that it was like droping her off at a morgue...so he changed her to the last group we have in county, this group is a great group!!! when we have meeting's??? as for the project's!! my daughter does dog obedience and i did have her in horse but pulled her out of that and we work on that at home

well judging by what you have told us, she is probably just as fed up with the lack of organization as you are. hopefully she'll come around so you can band together and make the jump to the new group! let us know how everything goes!
