3 months ago, I was realizing that even with riding 4 to 5 times a week, my inner thighs were just not getting strong. Given I am old and have been out of shape for some time I decided to speed things up. I had da brilliant idea of ordering a Thigh Master so I could work at home on strengthening and be an Even Better Rider.

Well, I apparently overdid it. About 3 days after enthusiastically working my inner thighs, I got out of my car, twisted my knee, and did something very bad.

My knee was so overworked that when I twisted it, I tore the little cushions and also ligaments. Doctor says surgery wouldn't hasten the healing, but it will take more than 3 months, probably more like 6 months, to get somewhat back to normal.

I wrap it up and can walk and even ride now. In fact, it doesn't bother me at all to ride since my full weight is not on the knee. Darn you, Suzanne Sommers. And to me, no more brilliant ideas.

I always keep my feet on the ground with my balance ball. I do curl ups on, great for curl ups. When I lift my feet off the ground I fall over. Am I doing something wrong?

I can injure myself doing yoga stretches. Not taking any chances.
