Welcome to horse forum!
I would also say dapple grey.......as for names mine all have their names for a reason LOL
I have a 11yr. mare who's name is Spice (my daughter wanted to name her cinnamon, too much of a mouthful) who is a roan
I have a 10yr. old appy gelding, I've had him since he was 6 weeks old and came here with his mom....his name is Chips (Paint Chips if we register him, his Mom is Paint Me Grand) and he was chewing on the paint chips in the trailer.
I have a 4yr. old sorrel gelding (Spice's boy) who is named Street......he's named after my youngest daughter's fiancee who got killed in Afganistan and he love Spice so much......so it's Pte. Street
I also have a 18yr. old QH mare named Sugar, I didn't name her, she was my best friend's horse that she kept here, my friend passed away last year and left her to me....once you get to know him better you probably will come up with a great name!

Grey horse names... hmm... I like Winter, that's a good one for a grey horse. Or Jack Frost. I also like Gandalf, as in Gandalf the Grey from The Lord of the Rings. Or Dorian Gray, Foggy (or Foggy Bottom :p), Grey Goose, Ash, Cinder, Smudge, Earl Gray, Stormy, Cumulonimbus, Nimbus for short! ;) Just be creative!

I really like Earl Gray :) Depends on his personality and just how creative you want to be.

I'm not all that creative with names hahaha only name I was creative with was my dog, She's a great dane as was born on halloween. My fav holiday so I named her Samhain (Sow-when) because I'm Pagan and it means hollween

As. For "Scout" he's very laid back, no spook in him at all. But he does love to run around and play. He's very very smart!
