I'm Sad :(

In about an hour our yearling pony Lexi will be picked up to go to her new home. I had every intention of keeping her finally realized that she needs way more attention then I have time for.

She is going to a great home. They breed and train racehorses and she will be a pony for their kids when she is old enough. They wanted a yearling pony specifically so that they know exactly what they are getting and how she will be trained. I feel like they are really going to take care of her.

I really hope they keep in touch and send pictures and stuff of her as she grows and I hope if they ever decide to sell her they think of us first!

She is a part of me I feel like as I saw her birth and helped her come in to the world...I am going to miss that little girl to pieces.

Aww it'll be OK honest It sounds like a great home for her. Its tough losing one that you have spent a whole year with, but we can't keep them all. Its better for her to go to a place where she will be number one for somebody.

Glad you found a good home for her, that will make things a lot easier

Well she just left. Loaded on the trailer like a champ (and had never been loaded before) and they were so gentle and in no rush to get her on. No whips, no ropes just let her smell and walk on. She is a great pony.

They are going to keep me updated on her progress and send pictures and if for some reason decide to sell her, we have first dibs. They have a 9 year old little girl and the mom and the little girl are going to train her and spoil her. LOL I am so happy she went to good people
