I'm so excited! And impatient!

I just have to share, because no one else in my non-horsey household quite understands. The boys are happy for me, of course, but just don't quite get it. My horse is coming home on Sunday! That's just 5 days from now! My very first horse, my dream literally since I can remember, and I only have to wait 5 more days! I wasn't lucky enough to be one of those kids whose parents could buy them a pony. I worked at barns every day after school to pay for my lessons. I saved change and birthday money to buy boots and helmets. And finally, at almost 21 years old, I have the money and stability to buy and keep a horse, and I am so happy! Just had to get it out, thanks for reading. :-o

Thanks! I forgot to say, she is a Spotted Draft x Haflinger cross, so she's fairly small (haven't measured her, but I'd guess around 15h) and built like a tank. I'm going to visit her tonight if it's decent out and hopefully take a couple conformation shots.

I meant that she's little for a draftie. I like 14.2 - 15h myself, but thickly built since I'm a little thicker myself. :D I used to like bigger drafts but I don't bounce off the ground anymore like when I was 12, and they are just too far to fall off of!

But what breed and all is he/she??:)
She's a 5-6 year old Spotted Draft x Haflinger cross. We don't know her exact age because she was rescued by the previous owner but by her teeth she's not much older than 6. She's green broken, can be ridden over/under/through anything but has no ground manners and not a lot of finesse. I am super excited to take her from a "cowboy up and go" green horse to a well-trained English horse!
