im stuck! please help me!

okay guys, now im stuck in a pickle. heres the story...

Well I got an email from a girl who was previously interested in Ginger when i was selling her. She emailed me and said that she would like to know if id be interested in trading Ginger for her 12 year old registered Quarter Horse. His registered name is Jackson Jay. His bloodlines go back to Scarface. His sire is Sporty Two Eye and his dam is Joy Jenny Moore. She claims to have payed $10,000 for him and has also traded her mare for him. He was professionally trained in reining. He can cut cows, team pen, barrel race, do ropes, jump, do English pleasure, western pleasure, and trail rides. His previous owners have shown him. He was previously used in Hunter/Jumper lessons for 2 years. Hes beginner safe. Hes also bombproof. She said hes a little spunky as of right now because he hasn't been worked regularly. She also mentioned he does do little bucks when he hasn't been ridden in while. Hes barefoot, has never been lame and is UTD on everything. She has also told me that shed be open to a trial period where shed take Ginger for a few weeks and id take Jay. She told me shed be able to drive him down here from MA. (which is a 3 and 1/2 ride) She also told me that i could have his Western tack too if we did a trade. Its such a hard decision and i was thinking about switching disciplines. any help guys? heres some pictures of Jay.

he looks lovely and considering you can have him on a trial basis then i say go for it :) just make sure you have something on paper about the swap/trial thing ;)

I think he's pretty nice, I say go for it too.
Yeah, just make sure you have stuff written down about the trial, & also, I'd get him vet-checked.

Ride more, worry less.

I don't know...bombproof ??? Doesn't sound bombproof...

I would really find out why she is willing to trade if he is such a great horse...

I don't trade squat if I'm not getting the better end of the stick.

I'm not putting your down I'm simply offering my thoughts. But if he is really that fab. couldn't she just outright sell him for what she paid and get whatever she wants???

I'm really cautious tho...

Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don't be afraid or discouraged by the size of the task, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.

sounds to me like he's too good to be true...

also NO HORSE is bombproof...when I was searching for a horse, if the owner said the horse was bombproof I'd literally spook the horse....yeah it might be mean...but I had a lady say the horse was on the horse, and he spooked when a bird flew by...and I almost fell off...bad experience haha

I'd definately find out why she wants to trade a "too good to be true" horse.

Personally, I like Ginger better
