Question Ima Hugable Jet questions

I've been looking into some horses that are related to Ima Hugable Jet, a 1994 APHA mare known for her accomplishments mainly in Western Pleasure. I saw that she passed away by 2006 (at only 12 years old) and was wondering if anyone knows what happened to her exactly.

I'm kind of nervous about buying a horse related to her if she had some sort of genetic illness that caused her death.

I know this is a shot in the dark, but I thought this was the best place to put the posting. Thank you in advance!

I can't find any information on her other than this page:

Ima Gallant Jet

Which seems to be her father's page. It looks like he had a short lifespan as well, only living 10 years. It didn't say why he died.

There seems to be a lot of inbreeding done for her pedigree

Ima Hugable Jet Paint

Her mother is also her father's mother. Dixon's Girl appears on both sides very closely, as well as Gallant Hug. Dotty Hug and Gallant Ghost are on both sides in very recent history as well.

This may have some meaning as to why the lifespan was so short. It may have nothing to do with it. We won't know unless someone can tell us a cause of death.

I would stay away from this bloodline though. Too many frequently occuring names in such a short period of time.

I found those pages as well, but as you saw, they don't give info on her death. Thank you for your help!
