When im not moving, being with cowboy or sleeping I look for good horse videos on youtube.

I feel distance from Cowboy right now, Im not up to see him alot since we are moving. So its hard for me (Ill cry every now and then since I feel like I've abandoned him) since he gets so excited when I do get to see him.

The perfect video helped me realize that its going to be okay.

Another one is now my favorite song, and what I look back on when Im with Cowboy, Its something I listen to when I have trouble reaching my goals for Cowboy and me.

What do you guys do when in a rough spot with you and your horse(s)?

That girl is a Cowboy.
Sometimes the best cowboys, arnt cowboys at all.

Well I'm in a pretty rough spot right now. My horse is in Maryland, USA and where am I? Oh.. New Zealand.

Over 7,000 miles away. I think it was like 12800kms? Not sure.

But I miss him like crazy is watching videos that I took of us riding and just focusing on how far we've come and how much he has improved. I think about how he's in good hands and he's so healthy and doing fabulously.

Now when I was there with him and we had a rough day, I'd think about what went wrong. And I'd forgive him and focus on ways to make the next time with him better so we can avoid making the problems again.

That's what helps me, along with updates and progress that my friend and the barn give me from time to time, managing his farrier, vet, and expenses helps me too. But that prob. doesn't apply to you..

And watching accomplished riders.. even if I don't know them personally (like people on the forum) really helps me focus on good things and improving in my riding :)

And I shouldn't have named names cause there's a WHOLE bunch of others.. lol so OMITTED!
