Insurance for ponies

I am helping my daughter start a business giving pony rides at birthday parties and events. I am sure their are insurance companies out there that specialize in this type of business. Can someone help me in this area?
Best regards,

Start by asking your insurance company that issues your homeowners policy. My insurance company covers my car, renters, and my liability for my horse. If they don't offer it they should be able to refer you to a company that will, usually a farm type policy. An umbrella policy is good in these situations as well.

Thanks. My daughter does not own a home so she does not have a homeowners policy. I just thought this could be a market in its own and people would specialize writting it.
Appreciate your quick response.

If she doesn't have a home, therefore I'm guessing these ponies are not on her property I don't know if a farm policy would cover that. But I would start by asking your current insurer as any decent one would be able to refer you somewhere if they cannot write a policy that would be sufficient.

My liability (for lessons & training horses) is an add-on to my farm policy. Fair warning, it isn't cheap! I know what I pay and given the avg price of a pony party, I'd have to do at least one a week just to cover the cost of the liability policy.

Look into ag/commercial equine insurance providers, they will be able to get you the best coverage and rates.

Life is like a camera. Focus on what's important, Capture the good times, Develop from the negatives and if things don't work out, Take another shot.

I get my mortality and major medical insurance from a company called Yearsley Bloodstock Insurance Services, based in Kentucky. I believe that they also write Equine Liability Insurance. You might check them out. Just google the name and the link will pop up.
