introducing 2 new horses

I will be picking up 2 new mares soon. They don't know each other and they are not at the top of the pecking order as is. Normally I keep a horse separated for a couple weeks then introduce to my other horses and all goes well.
So would I put these 2 together when they get here or keep them separate, and also separate from my other horses? They will eventually be going with one other mare. Or would it be safe to just put both in with the mare I already have??? Need opinions.

Trained
Quarentine!!
When I got Rick back from the trainers my mare busted through her fence so I let them all run together. All three had colds within days! First time any of my horses were sick.
