Update so far is that we have had major issues getting him accross the country to me!
My lorry is out of action and I'm desperatly trying to find the part for it but the lorry is so old, parts are obsolete and thus hard to get hold of.
The Owners lorry was supposed to bring him up last week but broke down on the way.
So he SHOULD finaly be arriving on thursday this week!
He has arrived!!!!
He is massivly unfit and somewhat overweight, but he travelled up for 4hrs without a peep, came off the trailer and got chucked out in the school for 20 mins whilst we sorted the trailer out.
Then I took him out to his paddock and he was happy as larry, popped his head down and started eating. He was settled within about 5 mins.
Plans have been altered now. First thing I need to do before any schooling is get him fitter and get him to stand at a mounting block. I recon he couldnt do a 20min hack in walk without breaking a sweat right now.
I'm very very happy he has arrived and his owner seemed pleased that he was going to do something!
Dont get me wrong he has been well loved before he came to wards me, there is nothing physically wrong with him and his owner is brilliant. Unfortunatly she is disabled and her life has not been the best recently so this lad has been sat doing nothing for the last few months and he is a very very very good doer!!!
