It's My Horse's Birthday...

What special things should I do? Today is his birthday. His present was that he got bought and got all of his tack and stuff. So the present is covered. I plan on making horse treats and going for a bareback ride, after grooming him for a long period of time.

Yeah! That sounds fun!
How old is he today?
On my horses 12th birthday we went for a jumping lesson and I made him a video from the clips my dad took :)

He's going to be 14 today (as far as we know...)

Haha, no fair. He's older than me now.

Haha, I wanted to do this for Ice back in January (lucky guy gets two b-days since he's registered with the JC...January 1st with all of the rest of the racing horses in the northern hemisphere, and January 28th, his real birhtday!) but I couldn't find a treat recipe in time....so now I'm determined to help him celebrate my birthday, haha.

Happy birthday to your pony!

You could give him a quick massage and hand groom, such as slowly rubbing the poll area or scratching the withers.

When it was my horse's birthday, I got about 15 people to come out to his paddock to sing happy birthday to him. He never looked so bewildered in his life
