It's raining!

After 6 (?) weeks with no rain & temps over 100, it's FINALLY raining! I'm so happy I could cry!

Thats cause all the stupid rain in here in the UK :( In about 6 weeks I think we have only had about 6 days where there has not been a single drop of rain where I am.. I hate the rain lol...Can you tell?

I wish we had that much rain!

Me too.. its way to dry over here..

Anybody with any rain they don't want can send it right over here! My pasture is now dirt and a few, very few, hardy weeds. The lawn is crunchy when you walk on it and I've lost all of my fruit trees. It's not real pretty around here, right now!

^^ agreed we spent 7000 on trees last spring because we thought we would get some rain.. sadly, most of them have died,, and we water them everyday, everyother day.. it suckkss

That will be me next year, IF the almanac says we'll get rain. I didn't replace the ones we lost last year because I knew we had another bad year coming. I did try for a veg garden, that was a waste of time and money, it burnt to a crisp first thing.

The really sad thing is, since this is year 2 of the really bad drought, I'm losing all my old growth trees now too. It's very sad. And, we're not allowed to water them.

Why can't you watger them???

Water rationing, we're only allowed 'essential' water for ourselves and livestock. We're not just in the 2nd year of dry, we're running out of water too.
