Petra was on the market for almost 2 months. I had about 3 visits, all of which did not work out. She's a bit difficult is Petra. Might sound daft, but she knows when its not me riding her.
Its not cheap to advertise them over here either. She is still advertised on one site. ~I just have a feeling Meggy will be snapped up.

Why don't you sell poppy instead? Or lower Petra's price?

Oh sorry to hear that!!!! I was once told that horses that mean a lot to you and you mean a lot to them will be together again. My mini ''cash'' died at 6m and 9 days. I an still super heart broken. I loved him. I still see him everywhere. I can hear him all the time still. He passed one week ago. We were fighting digeational problems fom 3m old b/c his breeder did not want him there anymore and weaned him the day he turned 3m old!!! She told me that if I would not come get him " that she would do with him what she pleased". What could I do? I had to take him and we were at the vets office about twice a month every month........ I just rescued a 2yo red roan paint and I think cash came back to me in a way. I named her " She's my kinda rayne" Rayne for short. I believe that my little cash lives on in her. Sorry to ramble about me but I hope my story will help. Sorry your haveing to go throught that but she will be with you again.

I honestly don't know what to say Carol. I'm just heartbroken you have to sell any of your horses. If I was there I'd come kick your father in law in the butt for firing you and maybe give your husband a boot in the scuffle?
I think since it was his dad that fired you he should help pick up the slack in the finances.
