Jake the belgian arrived home today!

Jake got home today around 5pm! Hes out by himself for now until he gets a clean bill of health. But he got a drink and dove right into his big 'ole pile of hay! I'm just letting him settle in tonight, and I'll attempt to groom him and give him a bath tomorrow! He's so sweet, he doesn't object to anything, what a sweetie. His eyes are so worried though, I don't think he quite believes whats happening yet.

Here are some pictures from today! Comments on him? I'm going to start an official "Track Jakes Progress" thread.

And his new temp. field! I'll bet he feels like he's gone to heaven!

Oh I am soooo happy for you! And call me crazy but I think Jake looks MUCH happier than he did in the pics from his former home! Looking forward to seeing his progress. :)

He looks happier, still not quite settled, but happier

I agree, he seems so much more lively already. His ears are pricked and there is some spark in his eyes. Some of that may just be nerves but it is wonderful to know that he will only get better. I am also looking forward to tracking his progress.

He looks really good with his nose buried in hay. ;) And his poor nose :,,( Only heaven knows how long he was stuck in that halter.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Sweet looking boy, what are the marks on his face? Are they halter marks?
