Nutty, looks like what we had last year, during June and July! Constant rain! I thought of getting the horses water wings to prevent their drowning!

Hope things clear up for you soon. We had a horrid hay season last year because of all the rain. Hay was cut so late, it lost much nutrition, so we've had to supplement like crazy to break even!

Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the floor each morning the devil says, "Oh crap, she's up!".

Poor horses, and people. I've always wanted to visit Hungary, still have family over there I believe :) Not going anytime soon in that wet weather though hehe. You said it's abnormal for this time of year...I wonder what's changed.

Things are a little bit better - but not much, we have only had about 5" of rain since that photo was taken so my pond is now only about 7 acres instead of 10 - the horses have their rugs off now - we are keeping an eye out for temperatures and rainfall so Zahlia and Fella don't get cold as they are getting on a bit in years - they all had to wear the rugs again for a day last weekend - it's a real pain ---- rugs on , rugs off , not a game I wan't to play too much.

As for whats changed --- I think they call it Global Climate Change, anyone in my opinion who dosen't think it's real just needs to look around at the different weather patterns that are appearing alll over the place - just look at the news and you will see deaths caused by flooding in Hungary, France, Brazil - and that's just over the last month - not to mention that there is a drought in the UK with above average temperatures for this time of year.

Oh and the weather forecast for the rest of June ---- Rain

Too bloody right there nutty! Here in South Australia we've got a severe drought that has been going for years now, they're building a desalination plant on the coast now to try and keep up with water demand, the lower lakes around the Murray River (our main freshwater supply) have all but dried out, leaving acid mud exposed.
Couldn't agree more about climate change/enhanced global warming being a big contributing factor here, hence the reason I am currently studying environmental management at university, trying to learn more about what's happening and trying to find solutions to aleviate the problem

aaahhh that looks just like home does it not? I live in NZ I know exactly what that sorta weather looks like (although thankfully its 8:05pm and dark so I can't see it right now)
Middle of winter here, my horses: Hairiest (mini) single rugged. Hairy (tb) Double rugged (both thick synthetics). Non-hairy (ex tb polo horse) triple rugged :O 2 synthetics and one canvas.
Lol im lucky we have hills here so mine can still get to some grass. On the flat it looks exactly like your photos, except with a bay, a chestnut, and a buckskin mini.

We're in Romania, near Hungary and things aren't going better here either :(
As for the Global Warming, I guess it's happening elsewhere as I haven't seen such cold weather this time of year since I was born.

I think we;re heading for the Ice Age. Or Flood Age or something.
Our latest death counts raised to hundreds as well, crops compromised, houses washed away....

I don't think that the person/s that coined the phrase Global Warming has done anyone any favours as most people have been given the impression that things are just going to get a bit warmer

What's really going to happen is what's happening - Global Climate Change, and this means that our weather is going to get really messed up - and this is definetly going on in Romania as well - and I have to say that I think that things are going to get worse before they get any better - and the getting better is decades away.
