    Just a general complaint

My horse is in training and they close before I can get there to see him during the week. It's absolutely beautiful outside today. This weather makes me really miss being able to stop by on my way home from work and spend time with him. Ugh! Just have to keep telling myself that the training is good for him.

That's a bummer :( Do you think they'd stay late one day for you to stop by? I can't imagine not doing so for a paying client. Heck, I've even been in the barn after midnight in the past for clients who worked second shift.

I could try, but it's well over an hour from my office. That's where the real problem lies. I feel bad asking them to stay out there until 7pm or later, kwim?

    7 p.m.? We don't feed until after 8 p.m. Barn hours are until 9 p.m.

I can understand they may be finishing working horses for the day but can't you stop in and at least check on him?

That's kind of what I was thinking mls. I'd certainly ask.

I know that when I stopped by a little before 6pm on a weekday to talk to them about training my horse (before I moved him there), they were done and waiting on me. The contract itself states that barn hours are 9am-5pm Mon-Sat. I don't really mind so much because I'm able to go out almost every Saturday. It's just when it's beautiful out and I have cabin fever and a light workload that I miss just stopping by the barn. I'll probably see if they can accommodate me coming out tonight. If not, I'll see h jim saturday anyway.
