What can I say, gotta keep everyone updated! (;
Surprisingly, the most painful part has been the huge sand scrapes on my back- I hadn't broken a bone before, and it hurt way less than I expected it to, especially after seeing the xrays and how extreme and dramatic the break was. Right now i'm feeling pretty good- my arm is immobilized in a sling, which feels so nice and i'm a little whacked out on vicodin. Tomorrow o see the surgeon, who will tell me about the surgery and schedule a day for it. Luckily its an out patient surgery, but I will have a scar. And my senior pictures are three Weeks away):

I guess I'm kind of a morbid one, but I kinda want to see the x-ray. Broken completely in two pieces?? wow!
good luck with the surgery. glad you weren't hurt worse

No, it's cool, I was freaking the nurses out because I asked them to print me a copy of it, but they didn't know how? Thats the downside to the online age, I guess. I'm hoping the surgeon can print me a copy. But I guess most people dont want to see their x-rays, which I found strange. I think it's super cool.

haha I did have to laugh at my typo. Thanks! Looks like I've got at least a month in a splint, possibly more.

Wow, that is quite the break! Sending healing and pain-free vibes your way.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/
