    Just weaned Baby

So I weaned Baby this morning, She is beside Momma in a corral. Baby has been spending alot of time in the corral by herself as it was. They still can share a round bale.
So far, neither mom or baby care that they are separated. Its been about 3 hours. Should I be worried about an explosion later?? Baby cannot suck now, so I was wondering how often do they want to suck. Is there going to be a fit later, when she realizes this?

    More questions
I was planning to keep them separated for 2 months. How long does it take for moms milk to dry up?
If baby sucks again later will moms milk come back ?

They can still see & be near each other. If the foal is over 6 months old-it's probably been eating hay already, so no big deal.

Ya she has been eating hay since she was a couple days old. I also give her some frisky foal. She loves it. I just always thought I was going to have a huge issue on my hands. Hopefully this continues....everyone nice and calm.
