Keep your fingers crossed for me!

After a good two or so months of searching, I found the first horse that could actually work out.. as she was within the distance my dad was willing to drive (about three hours away) and she had a nice build and had lots of potential. With that being said, I replied to the ad. Today she got back to me and said the horse might be sold already but it's pending, although she's going to let me know by the end of this week.

So, please keep your fingers crossed that the mare is still available for me to go see at the end of the week! (or that I happen to find another horse that fits my criteria if she does sell)

Forever loved, never forgotten; my beautiful Indie. <3 Hoofprints on my heart.

Fingers crossed :). You could maybe ask to go out and see her before the end of the week, and if she's what you want, have cash on hand to buy her. Sometimes the seller can't refuse to sell her to you if you have the money now. Sellers get impatient waiting around for someone to make their decision.

Good luck! Hope you find the one soon! ;)

I work throughout the week, but I did tell her that I'd be able to come up on the weekend if she wasn't sold. I should've just e-mailed her when I first saw the ad over a month ago, but at that point, I wasn't able to get a horse until the end of August/early September so I figured there wasn't much point.

I did manage to find a barn up about an hour and a half away on Google, and they have two mares that sound like they could fit what I want. They're both about nine, and had training started late.

The first mare is a Warmblood/Clyde cross, about 15.3hh and has been started over fences. She also has premium status after her CHSA inspection.

The second mare is her full sister but is 16.2hh and one year older. She hasn't been started over fences but is very nice on the flat.

They didn't have the prices listed, so I'm a bit doubtful that they'll be in my price range. I e-mailed about them but mentioned I did have a budget and said what I wanted in a horse, so hopefully they'll reply back with prices and such.
