Kubie is here!

My new appaloosa gelding, Kubie, is finally here! He is getting along well with the other horses (they are separated by a fence). I'll try to get some pictures up...he is such a beautiful horse.

The only "surprise" I had was when I looked at his papers. He was foaled in 1983, not 1985 like we thought. So I have a 26 year old horse who will be turning 27 next month! He sure doesn't look or act that old though.

He is registered, so I was able to add him in on allbreedpedigree.com. I would love to find out more about his history--I just might buy a membership from the Appaloosa Horse Club. There is an option to find show records and such. I think I would have to pay for a membership, as well as the information though.
