    lesson pony sold :(

Our trainer called Friday to let me know that the pony my son rides had been bought by someone. I had really been hoping that I could buy her but we just couldn't afford it at this time. My poor little guy was just sobbing when I told him the news. New owner was scheduled to pick her up this morning, so we went to the barn as soon as I got off work yesterday to say good bye. Well, the new owner had picked her up sometime durring the day yesterday, so when we got there, Dotty was already gone. Several other boarders that were at the barn stopped to give my son a hug & told him that there will be plenty of horses in his future to love (I so love the people at our barn). Hard lessone for my little guy, but as he was told, there will be many more great horses in his future.

Poor little guy. That is tough. Even as an adult, I think I would still find that hard. But it is true that there is ALWAYS a horse for you to love and that needs love in return. :) Best wishes to you and him!
