My freebie that I got as a yearling. She just turned 8. Couldn't ask for a better family horse.

Both of my girls were given to me! Star, the sorrel QH on the left, belonged to a gal who in her senior year of high school had to give her away because she was going to college and her parents could no longer afford the boarding. Registered as "Ms Northern Star". The bay Morgan on the right, "Laney", was given to me 4 wks ago by a lady who's husband was tragically killed in a sailing accident, and she can no longer affored 5 horses and the house/property. Registered as, "Sugarlane Madonna". I love them both with all my heart! :)

thanks! He was definitely my angel. One of the first horses I ever remember riding, and he babysat me through many rodeos and trail rides haha.....but oooh he had the BIGGEST addiction to pepper mints...i had to bum mints from IHOP and Dennys n whatnot to keep up with his "needs". I would go through a 5lb bag of mints in 2 weeks....craziness!

Full blood registered straight egyptian arabian - given to me by a friend - why he was free? I still can't figure it out - I've had him for over 3 years now - **** fine animal! Perfect conformation, attitude -show bloodlines - he needed a good home, and I went out to a friends' to trail ride one day with one horse and came home with two....

I bought my first horse, a mare that ended up being pregnant, and that was how I got my second horse, Mana. He's basically the little brother I never had. I love him to bits but he gets on my nerves like no other.

After a difficult time with my first mare, I decided to get another. After seeing a rediculous number of old horses being rehomed from homes they have had forever just because of their age, I decided that I would give one of them a forever home that they could have until the end of their time.
I put out a wanted ad and decided on seeing Thelma. It turns out that I had seen her before, as she was on my way to my weekend job. I went to see her a couple times and loved her immediately. She's been so good for me.
