    Exclamation Lets make a pact!!

So, being at a stable for the first time instead of backyard boarding, and being part of a larger riding team than I am used to I have realized something....Us horse girls cause a lot of drama!!!

Reading these posts, I think I am not the only one in the world with this issue!!

So I am writing a plee to all the riders of the world! Lets cut down on all this drama!! I know that none of it will go away all together, but maybe if we make it a little bareable for the people that talk smack about us, or the people we talk about, it will make riding more fun for everyone!

Face it, we all started riding because it was fun, exciting, and we are all a little off our rockers for getting ontop of an animal with a brain and trusting our lives to it!

Lets all vow to do one nice thing to the person that causes us the most stress at the barn (excluding our crazy horses who roll in the puddle of rain pee before we go for a test ride in a new saddle). Only something you feel comfertable with! I am not saying go muck Debbie Downers stall...but smile and wave to her today, offer first go in the jumping ring, pluck the oleander arround her stall....do something to end one small tiff.

    Is anyone with me!!!

You know in aperfect world this would work. Unfortunatley, everyone has their own opinions and ways to do things. Not everyone is nice. Not everyone has to be. I think a lot of people feel they need to put up a wall and keep others out. A lot of it stems from comments and looks. It is quite rediculous how others treat each other. I honestly don't think anyone is going to come together and do something nice for another person. It takes someone like you and I and anyone with a heart to act nice to someone else. I don't think people need to be rude but on the other hand if someone is asking for help and then fights the person trying to help that person gives up. All I know is if you are willing to be the bigger person and decide to help someone, don't expect them to return the favor. Never expect it. That's what being the bigger person is all about.

Honestly? I have never in my life been involved in barn drama. The barn is where I go to be with my horse and have fun, not engage in childish drama.
