LMAO! lost in translation....

DD's birthday is coming up. DH's parents had asked him what she wanted, he had no clue, so I had sent an e-mail to MIL with a few ideas.
Today I was at work and I got a text from DH - "Have you lost your mind?" (well, that's a conversation starter...)
Apparently MIL had a concern about the list I sent her -- she had called DH asking just why it was I thought it was appropriate for our daughter to have "sleazy horse jammies" (I had even listed a color and size)
Yes, I meant the ones for the horse.......had some 'splainin to do on that one.........

But not a nice thing to say as a conversation starter..

Haha...that is super funny. That reminds me of a time several years ago. I was on our guest computer in a common area of our place. I also was planning to order my horses some Lycra mane tamers. I typed sleazy sleepwear into the search engine. I turned around and my dad was standing there looking at me and then the computer then back to me several times very oddly. There was just an awkward silence. Then... some explaining..haha

Well, once I realized what was going on I was able to overlook (even understand) his reaction -- considering DD will be turning 16 and he thought I was soliciting his MOTHER to buy her lingerie.

Hahaha...that is just too funny!
Your poor MIL must've been so confused and maybe even a little worried.

That's great!
