Looked at a mare last night...

And she was sooo perfect... except she had bench knees. And also her hocks wobbled out when she walked, but fine at a trot and lope. I'm not sure what to even call that? I've seen plenty of horses that do it though.
I haven't ridden a horse this well trained in years, you could probably pull the bridle off this mare and still ride her around off your leg whereever you pleased. And on top of that she was pretty much bombproof.
I'm just pretty bummed out about her legs

That might not be such a bad thing. I think you are refering to her being bandy legged. I would get a vet check and see what he/she thought before counting her out. My old horse Flash does that and he still doesn't have any problems with his hind legs (he's 27).

The hocks didn't terribly bother me. I've seen a lot of older horses do it that are still sound. I guess it was just her bench knees. They weren't terribly extreme, but it seemed like her right cannon bone bowed slightly too. We has asked for a vet check on her if we did decide on her, which they were fine with.
