We didn't get coggins done the way we normally do...we told the barn owner to wait but she didn't and had them done when the vet was out one time. Not a big deal, but she had them sent to her house and handed them over a week later or so. It was enough to throw off my normal "coggins routine" and instead of filing them as soon as I received them in the mail, they were left on the table. Things have been crazy around here, and long story short, they got thrown away.
I googled what to do, other people who have lost coggins said to call the vet. So I did that a week ago, and left a message. She never called back. I called again last Wednesday and still no response, I know it's a good number. I gave her plenty of time since I know this is a busy time of year, and I guess I'm hesitating to keep calling because this vet has a terrible bedside manner and is known to be really rude so I guess that's why I hesitate to keep trying (I didn't want to deal with her in the first place, but that wasn't really my call this time).
Is there anything else I can do, other than to keep calling her? I live in Michigan, if it makes a difference. Is there someone else from a state department or something that I could try contacting?
