He rode like a semi-truck; tense, stiff, fast, unbalanced, go-go type, defensive, ect. I later found out that the reason for this was because last year he had gone to another women for training and I'll just say she's the type of girl I wouldn't even let in my barn. She was using a harsh gag bit on him and constantly on his face yanking him around and used a tie down to force his head down!
But after some work he's become a really nice ride that I wish I could own! He's far from finished but he's come a long way and I'm proud of him. He no longer wants to just race around the arena, and has become balanced and relaxed, and can be ridden at with a loose rein without going ballistic!
