My horse is 13-14 years old, and I have him on the best glucosomine, chondrotin, devils claw and msm supplment I can buy, yet I still worry he's too old to be jumping decent height (2'6''-2'9'') jumps. He used to do eventing training level with his old owner so he probubly knows how just fine. I still worry so much I barely ever jump him over 2'. Id like to do heigher though. Maybe my worry that he's too old is because before I got him I used to train 3-5 year old arabs so I was used to young horses. I don't know lol
Do you guys think he's too old?
No major previous injuries, he's a 15hh QH
This is me jumping him 2' this previous summer
Don't mind my silly jumping face, lol and I know I should be wearing proper riding clothes but it was really hot that day
