Just need to vent a little to people who understand.
All my life, I wanted a horse. I didn't exactly grow up in ideal circumstances... I won't go into that part. Suffice it to say, my mom could hardly afford food, let alone a horse or even lessons. When I was 19, my husband bought me my first horse. This gorgeous, 15.2hh sorrel tobiano paint/quarter horse mare. Her name is Daisy Mae. She was my first horse and had a special place in my heart. I learned a lot from her and taught her a few things too. After my husband got out of the Marine Corps and started school, we had a newborn baby, I was working full-time min. Wage, and it was ridiculous to try and feed and care for a horse. So we sold her to this awesome family. She was a birthday present for a 10 year old girl. That was about 4 months ago, and I texted her today and asked how Daisy was doing. She said she has been in a bunch of parades and they take her out trail riding all the time. They are taking much better care of her than I could financially afford right now. I'm happy she's being well taken care of. I miss my pony a lot though. :(
