Mortality/Major Medical Insurance

If you have insurance on your horse, who is it through? What are your coverages and premiums?

I am just trying to get an idea of what companies I should look in to, what coverage I should get, and how much I should expect to pay.

Green Broke
Reeco is insured and his policy includes 3rd party, Theft and recovery, all illness and injurys, hospitalisation, Loss of use, Death, His disposal costs are covered in the event of his death or humane distruction. He is covered for loss of entry fees. The policy also covers any injury to me whilst riding him or any other horse and it covers 1000 worth of my saddlery if it is stolen (replacing new for old).

I have an excess of 120 and he is insured for 3000 value.

The premium is 350 per year and that is with Petplan equine
