Moving to my new barn tomorrow

Well, it's been a few months coming but it is finally time! I have been wanting to get out of the public boarding again (never liked it to begin with) and get back to self care at a private facility.

Myself and two of my friends will be moving our horses to our new lease property at 11 tomorrow. It consists of 6 acres or so of pasture (split into one larger pasture and a smaller one.) a four stall barn with an attached lean to and a sand/gravel paddock. There is also a small outdoor arena and direct access to over 200 miles of trails right out a gate on the property.

It is a 30 minute ride on the trails to the riding center. There there is a large indoor with stalls, a cross country course, two outdoor arenas, and a round pen. So if I feel like riding, I have access to an indoor and round pen if I want it, but my outdoor should suit my needs for the most part.

And, of course, I come bearing pictures.
These run from older pics before we started cleaning up and fixing all of the broken stuff. There was a lot. The owners pretty much let the place go without maintaining it for several years.

    More coming!

I think I can safely say, from a horse's perspective, the fields are magnificent.

So the three of you are kind of leasing this out and all taking turns to do the chores? I would love to have something like that!! It looks awesome! I'm more of a low key small facility person!!! Enjoy!

My horses would think they died and went to heaven! But then they'd break everything and go stand in the rain.......

Very nice property! So there is no one living at the premises, just the barn or do the owners live in a house of the property?

Ems- It's out of commission as it is. It belongs to the property owners, and like everything else out there, they have let it fall into disrepair. It was supposed to be moved out of our way a while ago, but it looks like we are going to have to do it ourselves at this point. :/
But, yes! Tons of grass!! I'm super excited!

Muppetgirl- Yeah. We take turns doing chores, but mostly we all are at the barn as much as possible, so likely, we won't have to do the chores by ourselves all that much. The barn is a 15 minute drive from us. So much better than the hour and some odd minute drive we have been doing.

Waresbear- The owners live in the house, but keep their one last horse at another facility where she trains and shows someone else's horses for free board. Personally, I think it's silly. They have the property and board their horse elsewhere. But I guess that's just me.

You'll notice the patchwork fencing. We had to fix a lot of it, and it is not all done. Still some posts to fix when the ground thaws out all the way, but it is secure for now.

I can't wait to see my horse everyday again!

Congratulations I'm drooling over your set up! It looks simply amazing.

I also have also over the last 10 years made the move from
    Own 10 acre breeding facility
    Boarding in public
Boarding in private home/ BAD decision
    Boarding back in public
And now moving to a girlfriends farm so it will be me and her and that's it. And I am so excited! Not quite the spread you have, but still so so thrilled!!!

    Congratulations on your set up.
