Smile Murphy's Horse Law

- No one ever notices how you ride until you fall off
- The least useful horse in your stable will eat the most, need shoes every 4 weeks and need the vet at least once a month
- A horses misbehaviour will be in direct proportion to the number of people who are watching
- your favorite tack always gets chewed on and your new blanket gets torn
- clipper blades will become dull when your horse is half clipped
- you can approach within 15 metres of the yards in clean clothes, you will get dirty
- the number of horses you own will increase the the number of stalls in your stable
- hoof picks always disappear
-If you fall off you'll land on the site of your most recent injury
- there's no such thing as a sterile stable cat

Story of your life?.. haha made me laugh and i'm sure we all could use one

Adding to the list...
No matter how much training you do inbetween lessons, your horse will always behave worse than EVER next time your instructor comes
Non horsey friends will only hear the horror stories of you riding, not those perfect moments, and think you're a nuttcase
Camera=fail... always :(
White jods never stay white, no matter how many layers of 'protective' clothing you wear on top!

You sure are, hoofpicks go missing at the drop of a hat around here, and I'm the only one using them.

White jods never stay white, no matter how many layers of 'protective' clothing you wear on top! I can actually keep my white clothes white.. unless I clean my horse's nose with them LOL

- A horses misbehaviour will be in direct proportion to the number of people who are watching Had a few of those moments over the years.
- your favorite tack always gets chewed on and your new blanket gets torn Ugh, brings back memories when I was a kid of our rottie pup chewing the stirrups and fenders off my show saddle.
- clipper blades will become dull when your horse is half clipped ALWAYS!
- you can approach within 15 metres of the yards in clean clothes, you will get dirty I barely make it out the back door before I'm dirty.
- the number of horses you own will increase the the number of stalls in your stable This is the only not true for me, I have 2 more stalls than horses. Sign to buy more?
- hoof picks always disappear Yes and they usually are found in the washing machine. I have a bad habit of sticking them in a back pocket & forgetting them.
-If you fall off you'll land on the site of your most recent injury Nothing like a re-bruise!
- there's no such thing as a sterile stable cat
Or dog.
Story of your life?.. haha made me laugh and i'm sure we all could use one
