Thanks! His barn name was "Maggus" but too many kids at his old barn thought it was "Maggot" and they'd tell their parents about Maggot the horse, so it got changed (to another word you could pull Gus from.. haha)

He's really built like a brick wall . I mean that in a good way. YOu look very natural and relaxed on him. Congrats!

Just a quick update! Had my first lesson last night as Gus' official Leasee! It went well, we worked on FORWARD and maintaining a steady rhythm. Did a few leg yield attempts (i cant seem to keep his should from leading... any tips??? haha) and walk/canter transitions. LOTS to work on next time i'm out on my own.
