My first lesson...

Well I had my first lesson today and apparently im a natural when it comes to riding. The instructor says she was impressed and all. Only thing that bothered me was my jeans kept diggin into me. Anyway of fixing this issue? Thankx all. I love riding

I would say get a pair of breeches to wear for when you go riding.

Wear the breeches. You're at a riding lesson, not the prom, no one is going to judge you for it.

You can get jeans that are made for riding, but they can be expensive. Or you can find jeans that don't have a raised inseam, although you might want to get them a little larger than you normally wear so you have extra room to move in them. I actually bought some recently and got them a size up from what I would wear for street clothes - just don't for get a belt!

Congrats on your first riding lesson! I still ride with jeans, if you try really hard you get used to them.....but, that is just me You could also try getting different jeans.

I say I must agree with spastic dove, I shouldnt be so concerned with it and just focus on riding. Ill try the riding pants and see what happens. Thanks all!!!

Wear the breeches or find a comfy pair of jeans. I have mine all broken in!
