So! I am finally about to start taking lessons. I went yesterday, and it was so fun! She went over how to saddle and all that, which I know but she still taught me some little tricks on how to make it go faster :)

I rode Doc, a HUGE bay gelding. He's quite the character, when he yawns he sticks his tongue out to the side and waves it around lol. His only annoying thing is, when you pick out his back feet he gives you all his weight and lets you hold him lol.

And he is so big it was pretty hard to get on him, I should stretch.. Lol. But anyway, she calls him her problem child. He cribs, but with his collar he's fine. He had got west nile when he was younger, and they didn't expect him to live much less grow up to run barrels. His only thing from that is he is slightly rougher on his left side no matter how much you work with him on that side. He is also a bleeder, which is where when he runs water gets in his lungs and makes his nose bleed so he has to be given something (I can't remeber the name) which takes all the fluids out. He is given water right after his run, and she won't run him as often as her other horses. He's a LOT of fun to ride :) anyway, our lessons are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays! So maybe I can get pictures tomorrow. I just wanted to express my excitement :)
