My horse is gone, not gone but back with her older owner. ):

So as some of you may know, I just moved to AZ from AL about 2 months ago. I had to leave my beloved horse behind with my grandmother cause we didn't want to pay for 3 day shipping and I was only going to be here for about 2 years. Well my grandmother decides she wants to move to TX with my Paw Paw, so she can't bring the horse with her. She calls up her old owner, who lives like 30min from her and is good friends with them, and ask if she will take her back for the time being. I was told this about 30min ago. I'm not bad or sad, maybe a little, I know Abby will be happier with Mrs. Carolyn, cause she has like 30 horses and Abby was pretty lonely out there. So I'm actually pretty happy! I'll still get to see her and ride her this summer and when I go to Auburn for college, I'm going to board her there and show! So I'm happy, but just a little sad!

Well she's not gone gone, so that's good. At least you'll still get to see her and ride her this summer :)
So she's still technically yours...just not at your(grandmother's) place anymore? When you're back for good, these people will let you take her back/board her there?

Nope never heard of her! Lol All my family on my moms side are actually in Madrid, AL, it's about 10min from Dothan and 5min from FL. Yepp she's mine, my names on her papers and her papers! Actually, my grandmother isn't selling her house, she's letting my uncle live there, so when I go back we're going to move Abby back there, for like 3 months; with one of her little friends, A 15yro Appy gelding he is nuts lol; and I'll ride her there and then at the end of the summer I might take her make over there or see if my uncle will watch her. I moved to AZ cause my step dad is in the Air Force and that's where they told us we had to move!!

Sorry to hear about the news but glad she will be in great hands of someone who knows very well and loves her the same way you do. You know I always things happen for a reason even tho sometimes they are hard to understand. It's a blessing in desguise that your mare is able to go back and live with her.

We are all here as a groupy so make sure you come back and vet if you need to :)
