Red face my horse has made me so happy

Today, when I was at the barn feeding my horse, I swear I was looking at such a different horse. I need to get new pictures of him so all of you can see how much progress has actually been made, his coat looks 10x better, he's not ribby or at least you can't see them. when you run your hand over him you can somewhat feel them but, not much.

He looks so much better and he's feeling better, I mean when I first brought him back here on the 1st of March, when he went to go roll his back legs would shake while he was going down and now he just kind plops right down and rolls around and bucks around and rears and runs and it's so good to see.

I texted my fiance a picture of him actually and he was like "good job, he's looking better" and even the BO was giving me acknowledgment, telling me he's looking good again i feel proud of myself.

Sorry, just felt I had to let you all know :)

That is so great beau! I'm thrilled for you. Maybe I ask what his previous state was? Is there a back story? :) I'd love to hear it.

before march 1st, i had him in a full board place, they weren't caring for him well, not feeding enough, i never say hay in his stall and never saw grain he came back march 1st about 100 maybe 200 pounds under weight. =/ than when i confronted them and had posted something on here, they said it wasn't true and claimed he was skinny when he got to the full board place. which is a total load of horse crap, i have my current BO and friends(who have pictures) say otherwise.

if they took "good" care of him than why he'd come back looking like this.....
yeah ovbiously he was taken "good" care of. mhm.

sorry just got a little aggravated

Don't be sorry I can understand how livid you must have been! How is it that people who offer board fail to comply to basic horse care. If they can't afford to care for other peoples horses they should make their customers aware. But of course all they care about is the money coming out of the owners pockets instead of running a successful boarding facility. People are sick.

It had me really mad for the first couple of days and I am still pissed off. he charged me 450 for board and didn't take care of my horse. didn't even clean the stall. it's ridiculous.

Isn't the money given to boarders frm the horse owners supposed to be used to care for the horses? Makes you wonder what they REALLY used the money on.. those terds.

I call that pineapple butt. My horse used to have one too. Glad your horse is doing better now.

You just have to see your distance...you don't have to like it.

that's what I always thought. it's funny because, he ran a barn, asked 450$ board and i'm sure he never bought hay or grain from that money. how come you charge so much but, don't have money?

hey self boarding is rough and at times i'm running out of money but, i've never EVER left my horse without food. he's always had food, always.

people are messed up
