My horse is a "special child"... ugh!

Anyone else have a special child? By this I mean do you have a horse with a resume of medical conditions a mile long? I swear I have helped put more than one vet's kid through college over the past 11 years with my favorite horse, Justice. He's practically famous among veterinarians in my area.

Just wondering as I sit here doctoring his latest injury............

No, jazzy my filly, doesn't have any medical issues.... But in all seriousness, 2 of my 3 children have/are special needs, so while different, I do understand. I cannot imagine the $$$, care, worry and other stuff you must manage. Haha on the college tuition remark!

I am so lucky never to have owned a special child. None of mine ever rode on the short yellow bus.

I have two, a small fluff ball and a large fluff ball. My dog is allergic to grass :( and my horse had a crush on the vet, now she just likes to see how many trips I can make a month to the feed store.

Herdof2, Wear's remake wasnt directed towards our human babies. It's our 4 legged ones that ride the short trailer sometimes. Lol.

Ah, I can see where that could still have been taken offensively. She did say 'short yellow bus.' Not trying to continue to instagate, just thought I'd give Herdof2 the benefit of the doubt.

I had a special needs chicken once. Her name was Stella Rue, and all the other 55 chickens picked on her. I had to help her figure out how to eat and had to feed her by hand. She would ride around on my shoulder and put chicken spit in my hair. Even though I loved all of my chickens, I think I loved her the most because of all the ridiculously extra time I had to put into her to keep her alive. Sort of made her truly special.
