So the other day my trainer came and gave me my first lesson in over a year. And my first real lesson with Jubilee. First we lunged her, then I rode and then Sabra (my trainer) got on her and schooled her for a bit. Sabra knows quite a lot about dressage so she was doing all of this cool stuff with her... stuff I have no idea how to do! Oh my gosh, Jubilee was amazing. She had almost a little "swan-neck" going there. Sabra did shoulder-ins, side passes, quarter ins, and this short-steppy trot thing, as well as a very controlled, collected canter. It was so awesome! She is absolutely in love with her. She said she's a wonderful little horse, who is really smart and of course, push button. Hehe. I don't mind if she's push button though, because she's my first horse and she'll teach ME a lot. I'm so excited. Things went really well. Jube's a little stiff and unmuscly going right, so we're going to work on her alot. But Sabra said she has a lot of good muscle already and she's doing great. Just thought I'd share!!
