My Little Cowby

We went to our first fun show yesterday. Aside from Seth saying "I wanna ride a horse" and "My TURN!" the whole day, it was pretty fun! I had never been to one of those, and was taken back a bit by the speed at which some of those games were run! HOLY COW! And to think I just started walking the barrel pattern. Lol.

Anyway, no one we knew competed, we just went to watch. After some whining on Seth's part, one of the instructors from my barn let him sit on one of her horses. He's such a little cowboy.

Some pics:

Seth and Maria (one of the instructors) and Maria's horse Bubba:

That's not Maria!

Aww, too cute! I think you need to get that boy a pony!

Stella - sweet, timid, elegant, lovely, lively, amazing
Luna - large, unattractive, naughty, adored

Those are great shots Moxie - he does need a pony.

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

I just noticed my spelling error in the title. Sorry.

He DOES need a darn pony! When he turns 4, I'm going to start him in riding lessons. I know he'll enjoy them.

The whole time he was up on Bubba, he was trying to get him to move. Bubba was a wonderful baby sitter. What a good boy!

Poor Nora wanted some taffy SO bad. She wouldn't leave Seth alone. Lol She kept nuzzling him with her nose, just trying to get a bite.

We had a great time, it was really neat to see everyone run their horses. There was one horse that was refusing a barrel, and ended up side swiping the side of the fence where we were standing. That was pretty scary, I even yanked Seth off the fence and backed away. There were a couple of horses that actually broke their leads pulling away when the horse made contact with the fence.

I really do too. I like the fact that I got a horse and rider in the background as well. Kind of gives you an idea as to where we were at.

LOL Some times my fingers type faster than my mind thinks.
