These days, my little pony toys are just as expensive as some of the Breyer models But yeah.. the Breyers are pretty pricey (for the good mid-sized ones), I only have one... it looks kind of funny stacked all pretty next to my dollar store horses

My daughter plays with the Schleich horses. They are not nearly as expensive and you can run them over with a truck and they will still look OK. She likes them more than Breyers and MLP, plus they have ones that come with Fairy Riders and such. Goodness ... she just loves them. Sometimes they have them at TSC.

Hmm.. I haven't gone pony shopping lately, but I just remember mine and my friends moms getting us these My Little Ponies about 3-5 inches tall for basically free. We would try to collect them, but the urge to beautify (-cough-mutilate-cough-) them was too strong, and in the end we had a herd of apocalyptic looking ponies.

THAT'S probably why my parents never wanted to spend the extra money for Breyers...

Oh I know the ones you are talking about!! I've received a few for presents, and every time I go to target I just love to stand there and adore all the different types of animals and themes they have. I really love the mounted knights and the other horse selections, but even their other animal toys are very well made and have great detail.

Your daughter has a great taste in toys

I'm going off the "New" ponies that can be found at Wal-Mart... my brother just loves the show... so I wanted to get him one of the ponies for Christmas. Those little things were $15 a pop

And I don't know... I think I'd still have fun playing with your Mutilated Pony Army

That's a lot of money for a little pony! Kudos to your brother though for being manly enough to admit he likes the My little pony's show, haha

Too bad our parents threw them away, we got pretty creative with some of them!

He's six and unafraid to admit he is in complete love with Rainbow Dash I love that kid.

I hope you changed the cutie marks to match their new outrageous hair duos!

Haha, that's awesome! I've actually seen the show since my nieces LOVE it (and I have to support any horsey-related likes) and I'll say he has good taste

Of course! We experimented with markers, crayons, paint and stickers, and lots of sparkles.

Same with my brother! Rainbow Dash is his favorite after Pinkie Pie. I actually don't mind the watching it myself.

I just love Pinkie Pie, she's nuts But I guess Rainbow Dash is just boy friendly... probably because she's always trying to be "cool", I can see how it appeals to the little boys who like the show. And yeah, there could be WAY worse things I'd have to sit through with my lil brother... so I don't complain about something Pony related, specially if it's as amusing and adorable as MLP
