    My mare came today <3

Today Fancy came here. Her registered name is Im a Natural Redhead and she's a sorrel AQHA mare. She has a good pedigree with Zippo lines! She's amazing...doing REALLY good for her first day. I took her out and brushed her and she had a hard time standing still and was enjoying looking at all our outside surroundings (: Just went to check on her and she was eating hay-she LOVES hay!! She was bred in Missouri by Veda Gardner...so if anyone knows anything about her that'd be great! Sorry for the photo spam (:
    At her old home:

    Today! First day home

Soooo happy for you! Looks similar to my sorrel QH, 'Star', (minus the 'star' of course) - you'll find she'll shine like a copper penny in the sun after a good brushing, and if she's an alpha, she'll challenge you as the alpha as often as she can in between nuzzles and kisses :)

She looks like a total sweetheart! I would look into a different farrier, though.

I don't think we use the same farrier as them; doubt it, because were 30 minutes away...
Her left front does have a problem with the frog due to bad trimming Dx It's not bad though, we just have to put boots/shoes on her front hooves when going on a rocky trail or showing a lot.

I think what Kayella is pointing out is that the hooves are very upright. She has a lot of heel.

I know, I'm saying that that is likely because she also had the problem with her frog ;)

It would make sense.. I just looked back at the pictures and realized it was that foot with the frog problems. The other hooves looked pretty good.
