    My New Bays

I've gotten two new horses recently, acquaired them really. One is my 2 year old gelding Kid who the woman that I work for sometimes just one day asked want him I'll sell him to you. So I took him, it was hard to turn down for the price. He's a nice horse, he's close to 15 hands right now and won't be 3 till May. The second horse is a 4 year old mare who my mom gave me because she owes me money, she's a resale project. She's only 14 hands, broke mostly. She's registered and is pretty much all foundation bred. My mom didn't really like her but I do. Her name is Valentine. But here are my pretty bays. Val . Kid

Love Val. She's got a lovely face and kind eye. Love her body too, and ya can't beat that bay for color. If it was me I'd keep the mare and sell Kid... :) but that's just me.

Both look brown to me...mealing around the flanks and muzzle areas. They're both amazingly gorgeous though. Is Kid a little dirty in that photo or is his back really colored like that? XD

Ooo I like val. I think kid will be beautiful when he gets outta that awkward stage. He looks kinda sway backed, was he started under saddle early? I like his plain name for some reason too

Kid was underweight when I got him a few months ago and he has no muscle, he hasn't had much riding time. His back is dirty he's been out in the pasture until a few days ago and I just pulled off his blanket and took a picture. Val has no desire to be a barrel horse, that's why I'm selling her. Kid has the bloodlines and athletic ability. Even through his awkward looking stage , he's plain but I think he'll make something.

The mare looks sturdy and stocky... Very appealing for some reason. Have fun with them! Oh sorry about calling them bays when they are brown... I love the "look" of the browns that look like bays love the mealy brown around the flanks etc.
